Dendrobium (means “life in a tree”) are a more unusual genus of orchids. They are mostly tropical and easy to grow. They are considered a great orchid for beginners.
A common misconception is the level of care required by these popular flowering plants: they actually thrive best on a little healthy neglect. They flower for long periods and are great for a beginner and to give as gifts.
These Dendrobiums are currently not in bloom but they make a lovely structural plant all year round. These will blossom again in the spring/summer.
