This very decorative plant comes from coastal areas in West Africa, from Guinea to Gabon. It grows as a shrub up to 3m high, mostly along roadsides or slopes in secondary forest.
The elongated, light green leaves are marked in yellow and many different patterns and shapes of it exist. The cultivar ‘Mike’ offered here has yellow spots and partly green longitudinal stripes. It is also known as the “gold dust dragon tree”. A very fitting name for this very decorative and low-maintenance plant.

- Light: Prefers bright, indirect light.
- Watering: They are pretty drought tolerant so do not need frequent watering. Use room temperature water and water when top 50% of soil is dry.
- Temperature: Prefers warmer conditions so keep away from draughts or cold windows in winter.
- Pets: Toxic if ingested, keep out of reach.

We offer local doorstep deliveries island wide.
Worried about not being in? No need, we're happy to leave your plant in a safe place. In the shed, under the red bin, with a neighbour, wherever suits you! Just leave us a note at the checkout.
We make deliveries every Wednesday and Saturday, your preferred day can be selected in the drop-down menu at the checkout. If neither of these work for you, get in touch and we'll see if can arrange something. Likewise, if you would like a plant to be delivered as a gift on a day other than Wednesday or Saturday, please get in touch and we'll see what we can do!
