We love the large, dark green leaves and wild style the large Tetrastigma voinierianum or chestnut vine brings to a room! It’s lovely to have a big vine in a room - it really gives the tropical feeling of the rainforest - and this large houseplant is no exception to that. An extremely fast grower, this vine will soon cover an entire wall if you let it! But it is easily chopped and propogated to make many plants along the way :)
Coming from Laos, in its natural environment, it grows vigorously on trees, covering them in no time at all.
It features large, verdant leaves which are slightly fuzzy and have little chrystaly bumps on the underside - these are actually plant secretions that are for the purpose of defending the plant from predators. These are not pests and are totally natural. No need to remove, just leave the plant be.
Its common name is Chestnut Vine because the leaves resemble Chestnut tree leaves.
A climbing plant, these come with their own trellis which they are already happily climbing up. Be prepared for a fast growing plant which will bring you endless joy and free plants to share with your friends to boot. What's not to love!??

We offer local doorstep deliveries island wide.

We make deliveries every Wednesday and Saturday, your preferred day can be selected in the drop-down menu at the checkout.
